How does this game work? Following the intro the only options im given to progress are where to go and whether to take a nap or not when im there. I dont understand. Am i missing some interaction panel or something? What exactly are tbe controls?

This one I am torn on… It felt like it ran smoothly for the first part then suddenly I was repeating everything over and over again. While I know there is a walkthrough I would rather enjoy the story without cheating… Felt repetitive.
