Lewd Town Adventures

It would be better to simply ask if a player WANTS to see the NTR scenes, or play it AS A HAREM from the start. I don’t mind that the one tag directly conflicts with the concept of the other, but you need to simply things. Also, ninety percent of what I’ve played has been WAY too grim dark to be called “Parody.”

• If I activate the incest option – do NOT take the choice of breeding family away from the player at any point. Give said choice TO THE PLAYER. Seriously. You want to say the fetishes are there, fine. I don’t care. You want to say they’re optional; great. But you have to MAKE it optional. I’m on day 47 now, and I’ve supposedly off screen come in Rose so often she SHOULD be pregnant. All I’m seeing is “wait for a phone call.” That’s not even remotely a viable hint.
• While we’re on it: If you want me to be able to complete X criss crossed freaking events, first… less girls. Second, you’re penalizing the player every time you fuck over the MC. Financially or otherwise. NTR WOULD be avoidable if you didn’t make it seem like the useless arse has no choice BUT to take the psycho doctor’s deal. So at the end of it, he better get to bend HER over a table and turn her into his only actual whore/breeding slut for payout. (I generally hate the concept of using a woman for money, and especially in a Harem setting – but that should tell you how much I hate this freaking character. I don’t care if you’re supposed to. Fix it so that he gets to be the “MOST powerful man in X. Because at the moment, you’ve bloody screwed MC so hard someone needs to buy him dinner first.
• There are also too many conflicting events. That’s why harem’s work with only a set stable of women kept; there can be side girls that aren’t meant to be, and that’s fine. However, it’s a lot easier to keep track of events if there was a prompt as to what needs to be done to complete the Main Quest. (Back to the “wait for a phone call.” For about a week running. You’ve got to give the player more to go on than that. While we’re at it, I’ve been told since day 41 to go to the church and talk to X nuns – while the only one, because of course there had to be one “resistent one” didn’t there… Jesus. Yes, call that irony. It’s good for the soul – the only one who didn’t drink the damned water says she’s going to call the authorities. Where in the holy HELL is the parody in that??? Why would I ever go back there – and why in all that is holy did you think to tie a stalker character to so many damned blockading side quest characters, just to progress. You realize that makes her from the start the most difficult one I’ve seen to get anywhere with. Right? You might as well write for her tip “Don’t Bother.”
• The game gets better over time… Not as far as I’ve seen. You started MC uglier than Quasimodo, and ran his arse over to “fix” the problem. Turned one sister into a whore (pretty much guaranteeing concern over the NTR tag for those who had signed on for the promise of Harem, so good one there guys – I don’t care if you can avoid it… since it’s actually pretty obscure how I’m supposed to do that, while the doctor owns MC’s arse thanks to his alcoholic Mom) You’ve essentially created no way he can fight, logically. He has no real money, they have a literal army and the girls are all drugged to be sex dependant – but not necessarily on HIM. * Which could have been a potential distinction that differentiated the paths more clearly. Call it an incentive to get the MC to actually work for the organization; BUT he could also accept the point, with the intent to work his way to turning the tables on the doctor if The Player doesn’t like the way things are going… which leads back to as I typed above. Turn about is fair play.
• The massive tits… why? Do you not know how uncommon it is to even see beyond a double D. Especially in Asia. Come on. I know that Hentai does exaggeration, but damn I hate that kind of thing. There’s a difference between ennunciated for a focal point, and gratutious. There’s also the point I’d like to be able to actually CHOOSE who is in the harem in the first place. If I like the principal over the stuck up rich bitch… I should be able to leave off the events of the other. I should be able to not do the stalker (almost guaranteed Yandere) girl. I should be able to leave out the nun BS and still get the Main Quest done. I should not need to see a girl with breasts bigger than watermelons. With everything else you guys have written that pisses me off, that’s really not a turn on.
• Parody, is comedy. The only way this is a parody, or a satire is if the person writing it has the most fucked up sense of humor imaginable. I’m not asking for Cinderella style happy endings; but you should never paint your characters into a corner they can’t get out of. It’s bad writing. You shouldn’t go this level of grim dark, and still call it a Harem. MC’s little sister’s best friend gets stolen by her Dad, and can be NTR’d off screen (I think, I chose the path to see what would happen and it cuts away. I use multiple saves, so I can gauge all paths. Habit from when I reviewed these kinds of games)
• There’s potential in the story. That’s part of what pisses me off. First, you need to figure out where you want to end up. How. Down a light, a dark and a grey path since it seems you want to split it like that. Next, have a way for the MC to win. No matter how you define that. If dark; he owns everything. The whole damned town, and the doctor is his indentured, sex drugged whore. Across the grey, maybe kill her, and offer the girls freedom but find a different way to use the organizations resources, WHILE keeping your Harem. (Pregnant or no, should be an option) Down the light path, MC will use the sex drug to make Doc fall in love with him, and everything else falls into place from there. He keeps everything, you dove tail it to the beginning, and he ends up with everyone in love with him (Except Rose and Pamela/Most of the nuns, who’ve already been drugged) to be kept in an organic, loving Harem.

At this point, I’ll keep going for a bit. However, I no longer trust it will be better. No matter how long I play. I don’t trust there’s GOING to be a harem, or NTR avoided. I don’t trust the doctor. I don’t trust the writing, and I’m pretty sure the hint system is at least semi borked. The counts three major sins. I could be generous and grant seven… but that would be deadly to my keyboard, at the least. Five will be the hard stop. So two more big grim dark events that make me question whether the MC will ever win the game and I’m done with it. Because at that point, there will be nothing there that can be fixed.

I love this game, easily one of my favorites.
