SuperPowered is a RPG game made with Ren’py. In the game, you play as Billy, a young man still living with his mom. At the very beginning of the game, Maggie (his mother) buys Billy his first superpower. Because money is tight, he doesn’t have much of a choice, she’s getting him X-ray vision. Before the process begin, the nurse who’s gonna give him the shot has to test him to see if he’s compatible. As it turns out, he is but there’s something else. Unlike most people, who can only receive a very limited number of those shots, Billy seems to have the uncanny ability to absorb an unlimited amount of them. Thanks to this, he could become the most powerful of them all but in order to achieve this level of power, he must be careful. In a world where almost everyone can buy powers, anyone could be a potential threat.

Have to say I’m surprised there IS a second game. Dude the updates for your first one were so few and far between that I’d thought it was abandoned. Aside from the point you didn’t FINISH the first game. So it’s fine that this is a rebuild. Though that makes it very confusing that the title is Superpowered 2. Usually, that implies a sequel. Which again, would be difficult to pull off, without finishing the first game. Though I will agree the first was way too grindy. For not nearly enough pay off… and most of the supposedly available super powers either weren’t directly useful, or weren’t implemented.

The first game was nice but had some issues, now that he learned a lot and gained some experience the developer now wants to restart with a new engine, new graphics, etc.

Good to know. Though putting a 2 there does imply a sequel instead of a remake/remaster. So it might confuse some regardless. I might end up keeping this on my “games to wait on” list. I didn’t dislike the first game. I did dislike some of the mechanics, the insanely slow grind and the fact the best super powers were locked behind massive requirements (or straight up not implemented) Hopefully with more learning/experience under the belt he can pull off what I think he wanted the first game to be.

Unfortunately I haven’t played the remaster yet. It’s a remade version, so it’s possible that may be as far as you can currently get. The original version of this game wasn’t done when the dev decided to re-work it, so there’s only so much help a walkthrough would be. However if you give me some time I might be able to download it and offer a few tips. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

If you type in Super Powers you may find it; there’s also a genre selector if you scroll over Games in the options above. Superhero has 1. Superpowers has 354. Not sure what else you’re into but you can narrow the search with other keywords. I don’t have a discord, but I’ll chat here if you have any other questions I can help with.
I actually had to be told the game was a remake as well. The 2 does make it seem like a sequel, to a game that wasn’t originally finished lol.

Terrible game! The first one was great and I thought this one would be similar. Not even close. You can only choose 4 abilities to use each day, which sucks. You are ALWAYS out of willpower. You spend five days a week masturbating in the bathroom to build up willpower so you can do two actions. Work or patrol. Awful game, bad interface, and boring. Skip it.

For me it’s working.
Stupid game looks good but when you start playing it there is no where to go except to mom
and what ever you do for her is a failure.Why don’t you stick to making good games instead or wasting your time with this Shit?
This is a complete rebuild of the renpy version of the game that got developed to v0.45.03 before being dropped for a new version. It seems to be being made specifically to be less of a grind in the long run, which the renpy game suffers from.However, since this is an early build, it lacks enough content to actually be able to avoid being a grindfest. At least you don’t kill people in it or the renpy version. Disappointed by the lack of rapist, uniform fetishist and gangbang flaw, though.
5 years. Zero finished games. Third try.

I’d prefer it if the renpy version was finished.
Oh well, I’ve played that version a lot and haven’t spent a penny on it that went to the dev. Oh well.
