About Gates: The Opening

The protagonist is a 25 years old male character whose name is Sam Adams. He will start working as a literature teacher at the Gates High School right after the intro of the game. You can also work as a part time waiter in a local medieval themed inn. More part time job opportunities will appear as the game progress. There is a whole city waiting for you to discover!​

This update includes 4 different events with 7 characters. It also adds 6 new endings to the first chapter of Gates.
Although the game has 3-4 different paths all those paths are serving one main storyline. It’s basically telling the different sides of the “same” story so if you had some questions after finishing the other path maybe this update can help you to understand them. Or it can confuse you even more. My bet is on the second one 🙂 Because that’s how it’s meant to be. Because only that way I could make 3-4 more games to explain those parts.

    This game is not finished. so it is wrong taged. Even at the main menu you have a hint with a big yellow sign “work in progress”.
    It’s one of this games you can not load proper, you can not go back but the game selects decisions for clicked at any point of the screen even if it is not at the selection point. About the content… don’t even ask. Just look at the decision you have and you know what clichés to expect. Expect endings because of a decision you did a half an hour bevor.
    All in all nearly unplayable if you are not in masochism.
