VERITAS EXPOSITA
About VERITAS EXPOSITA
VERITAS EXPOSITA follows aspiring journalist Ali Taylor on a three-episode journey (plus a prologue) deep into the world of sex work—one choice at a time.
Inspired by Our Red String (Eva Kiss), Female Agent (Crushstation), and the introspective vibes of Life is Strange, VERITAS EXPOSITA is a text-driven, multi-path narrative with hand-drawn visual elements and a sleek, journalism-themed UI. It blends the depth of interactive fiction with the structure of a visual novel, offering an immersive and emotional experience.
In this prologue episode, Through the Lens, you guide Ali through doubt, entitlement, and moral sacrifice—all for the sake of a weekend trip to her best friend’s rented beach house.
Serving as both a proof-of-concept, and the foundation of a larger narrative, Through the Lens is Ali’s first step into a world she never expected to be a part of.

TLDR 8/10 great start, great hopes for future, but not a lot of content as of 0.8.6I find the art style lovely and the MC charming and hope to see more of this game in the future. I’d personally like to see the choices more clearly outlined, or a ‘walkthrough’ option to do the same as I tend to miss things even when trying to grind out every potential combination. The text is presented like a newspaper which is a unique and stylish way of seeing the story but the small text box limits what can be read in one go and forces a lot of clicking through, which is only a downside because if you click through rapidly you miss clickable text. I hope that the author continues and makes a clear list of future ‘tags’ we can hope to expect.
