Uhm, question – how the hell is this a “completed” visual novel? You were barely beginning to get to the interesting part of the story. I played it from the beginning. There’s BARELY the formation of the actual harem = you ended off on the potential of cucking an investor who was fucking the company over; and the consequences being there may not even be a company. Unless you’re going for a cliff-hanger to tie into a season two (which you shouldn’t do until you KNOW you have enough financial support to fund the beginnings of a second season…) where you were at the last update’s ending I can’t see actually being a viable ending to this game.
(Honestly, there was a point I almost rage quit BECAUSE you let MC “date” multiple women who all claimed to be falling for him/really want the sex… and then pulled the rug out by letting them “catch him out” UNTIL you actually have a split screen as to ‘do you want a dating sim or a harem’ [There should really ONLY be the freaking harem, and specifically who you actually want in it!] I will say there were some mentions of potential pregnancy, and one of the “relationships” was already taken… I get it, it’s a troupe. I don’t like it, but I get it. So until THOSE are resolved and the people that are MIGHT BE’s end up definitively IN the harem at the Player’s discretion, the game is not “completed.” Not by a long shot)
For now I’m willing to wait and see where a second season might start.
That update for Chapter 8 reads “red flag” to me. You either don’t have as much of a fleshed out story as you want, and are pausing the project for time, or you’re rushing to the ending. Neither’s a good option. I won’t mind the first, so long as the ending is plausible and not rushed. But the next update with the new season needs to actually honor continuity in this case. Otherwise it’s likely to confuse players, and it won’t just be me you piss off.
