Trying, like objectively very literally TRYING to fuck with your audience’s mind does not go well with the Harem Genre. First off. Second, you’re likely not a native English Speaker Dev; so that REALLY wasn’t a smart call. If it was designed for your own language in your own language (and maybe it translates better to one of the languages it’s available in that isn’t English, I don’t know) then MAYBE you did better than the dialogue I read…
But even then, the jump scares alone aren’t going to do anything but KILL BONERS. Which is kind of contrary to the whole point of playing. Like I said just the intro came off as “I Am Actually TRYING To Be An Absolute Edgelord.” I mean if that’s what you’re into you probably won’t care if this Dev eventually goes full Donkey show and tentacle point because Cathulu is a thing.
