The Un-YandereDev Update: how I took the game from 4 GB of RAM to 800 MB in RAM
- Changed how and when the game loads scenes
- The game now loads a preview scene before loading the whole thing. This way we avoid the “took too long to load, so I killed it” kind of errors we were having on Android.
- Scenes that are not visible are now unloaded
- Images are only loaded shortly before they are needed
- Only the required images are used, instead of… every image ever
- Improved how the game optimizes image uploads to the GPU
- Added a virtual on-screen keyboard for all platforms
- The game no longer crash on android
- Web Port of the game for the public version
