Sex Valley

Important Old Save File Information:

• If your save file is over the in-game month 4, the game will have problems and errors. To fix it, interact with the statue in front of Maribel’s Clinic and use the fix. It’ll reset the save to month 1.
• As the scythe is given at the tutorial, it cannot be obtained on older save files. To get the scythe on older saves, just interact with the statue in front of Maribel’s Clinic.

A few major warnings:

• Because of changes to the item ID list, older saves might have unintended items in the inventory or empty items.
• Old crops planted on the fields before this update WILL 100% be bugged.
• Because of changes on some item rewards, older save files might end up locked of some crafting books that are given at the end of specific quests or interactions.
• Might’ve broken Peach calling the player in case they are: On month 4+ AND the trigger was sent to early next month! (Usually when triggering her quest near the end of the month). Complete the quest before updating the game.

Weathers and Seasons!

• The game now has Seasons!
• A year now is 4 months! (Save files over the initial 4 months WILL have problems)
• Rainy Seasons
  • It rains a lot. Rain waters crops.
  • It has low chance of thunderstorms to happen. It waters crops and has a low chance to kill crops.
• Dry Season
  • Very high chance for “Heat Waves”. They kill non watered crops at the end of the day.
• Windy Season
  • Low chance of windstorms. They have low chance to kill crops.
  • Low chance of rain.
• Foggy Season
  • Low chance for every weather to happen.
  • Medium chance for Foggy weather to happen. In foggy weather, increases enemy encounter rate by 3x. (There’s a low 5% chance for Foggy Weather on ALL seasons)

Crops

• There are now 15+ crops available in the game!
• Crops now ONLY grow during the night, so you’ll no longer see crops growing in front of your eyes after watering them.
• Some crops are regrowable! They will continue to produce crops every few days!
• Crops that are left unwatered will now eventually wither. (in 3 days)
• Withered crops can be removed by using a scythe or waiting a few days for it to go away naturally.
• Added the Scythe! Scythe is used to remove withered crops from the field!
• Watering can now has 2 upgrades! (Craftable)
  • First upgrade makes it water in a 3 horizontal line.
  • Second upgrade waters in a 3×3 square.
• Sprinklers
• Added Sprinkler Crafting!
  • Sprinklers water crops at dawn. It’ll water an area around where it is placed on the field! To place it, just use it in the Tools bar.
  • Sprinklers have a weird graphic glitch I wasn’t able to fix. IF the area around a sprinkler you added before the current day isn’t showing the crops watered correctly, it’s just a graphic glitch.

Updated how Offering Points work!

• It’s “crop value/2”!
• But now you can offer eggs, milk, and whatever else you can produce on the farm!
• There’s a new Offering Point conversion menu, where you can easily see how many points you are getting!

Mining Update

• Rocks in the caves now randomly respawn! (This means it won’t always be the same rocks in the same spots)
• Added new jewels and items obtainable ONLY through mining.
• Added mineble rocks to the forest areas! (Not a lot, though)
• Pickaxe now has 2 upgrades! (Craftable)
• The Basic Pickaxe lets you mine basic rocks (Copper ore rocks)
• The first upgraded Pickaxe lets you mine intermediate rocks (Iron ore rocks)
• The second upgraded Pickaxe lets you mine advanced rocks (Gold ore rocks)

Changed how Fishing Works

• Added Upgradable Fishing Rod
• Drowner encounter is now dependent on the highest tier of Fishing Rod! 5% chance to happen, 10% during Foggy Season! (It uses the Sinister Hook as materials)
• Possible catchable fish are now dependent on the season and if they’ve been caught in the Sea or Rivers/Lakes
• Added 22 new Fish!
• Drowner “Exclusive” crafting item, the “Aquatic Fiber” is now also randomly obtained during fishing as an uncommon drop.
• You can now fish on ALL water bodies! (Still can’t fish on Character quests, as fainting there from lack of stamina WILL result in a game over)
• Fish still have effects when eater raw, but… well, they suck. Some even make you lose HP when eaten raw.

Crafting Update

• Added 3 types of Crafting spots
  • Kitchens are used to cook food (Kitchens. All of them.)
  • Alchemy stations are used to create potions (Clinic, Emma’s place, Hildegard Room, Peach’s Tower, Bum-Bum Workshop Upgrade)
  • Forges are used to craft weapons, armor and potions (Blacksmith, Bum-Bum Workshop Upgrade)
  • Added 20+ weapons and armor that can only be obtained through crafting.
    • Because of this, all craftable equipment are now only obtainable through crafting.
• You can now craft healing items!!!

Crafting Books

• Tools book is unlocked after completing Sarah’s Forging Quest
• Cooking Book 1 is given by Lamir when she is at the farm. (Requires exploring the first floor of the caves)
• Talk to Lamir when she’s at the Player’s house to receive a recipe weekly! (Up to nine recipes are obtainable this way)
• Cooking Book 2 is found near Ayla’s place
• Cooking Book 3 is given by Lamir at the end of her third quest
• Potion Book 1 is given by Obscuria at your first meeting
• Potion Book 2 is given by Maribel at the end of her third quest
• Equipment Book 1 is given by Sarah at your first meeting
• Advanced Equipment crafting is only accessible on the Bum-Bum Workshop. (It’s a new farm Upgrade)

Changes to the Farm Upgrades

• Changed how the: Processing Upgrade works. (Teach the wisps to cook)
• Removed “Auto-Fishing” upgrade
• Removed “SUPER seeds” upgrade
  • Removed the “Golden Star Crop” and SUPER crops as well.
• Added “Greenhouse” upgrade
• Added “Workshop” upgrade
• Chickens now cost 120g for the first one, and +40 for each subsequent one until the fifth at 280 (Used to be 450g)
• Cows are a static 350g for each. (Used to cost 1000g)

Stamina Changes!

• Initial Max Stamina is now 300
• Stamina increases by +5 after each main girl’s first quest (Lamir, Clarine, Lene, Elinnie, Maribel, Illyana)
• Stamina increased by +10 after finishing each main girl’s third quest
• Stamina increases by +5 by completing side character quests (Sophie/Eris, Nihil, Peach, Hildegard/Boo, Nameless)
• Stamina increases by +5 by defeating each caves/forest/seal bosses
• Will add other methods to increase Max Stamina up to a max of 500
• Stamina now regens when sleeping(Rather than going to full)
• Base Stamina regen is 200
• Stamina Regen increases by +10 for each player level (Updated when sleeping on bed)
• Decreased the Stamina Cost of planting/harvesting crops to -5 (from -10)
• Decreased the Stamina Cost of watering crops to -3 (from -10)
• Decreased the Stamina Cost of mining to -7 (from -10)
• Increased the Stamina Cost of Fishing to 30
• Added Stamina Cost to using the scythe! (It’s just -1)

Changes:

• Added a few new items to be used for crafting!
• Added a single Artisan’s Barrel to the farm. (It’s that one barrel near the field)
• To get more the player needs to get the Wine Cellar farm upgrade
• Added a new UI for giving gifts!
• You can no longer give gifts that aren’t considered gifts.
• You can no longer sell the Copper Pickaxe
• Changed enemy drops names to be more generic and spread out
• General item price decreases for the new gold balance.
• Reduced the weekly money you get from Eris.
• Reduced the money Illyana sends you through the mail during her quest.
• Elinnie now has a dedicated shop tab for seeds that change depending on the current season.
• Increased the number of steps the Shady Repellent lasts for(From 100 to 120 steps)
• Elinnie now sells Refined Repellent after defeating the Goblin Queen. (Lasts 250 steps)
• You can craft the Potent Repellent on Bum-Bum’s workshop after it is built (Lasts 500 steps)
• You can now see how equipment will change all unlocked characters’ stats on shop equipment menus!
  • Mostly for the city shops like Elinnie’s, Celeste, and the blacksmith.

Fixes

• You now properly get the starting seeds from Bum-Bum even if you skip the intro
• Fixed an issue where you could “recover” underwear from Bum-Bum before completing the underwear quest.
• Fixed an issue where enemies would show black boxes atop their heads.
• Fixed an issue where the scene from Lene’s second quest would loop depending on the choice
• Fixed an issue where Nameless wouldn’t appear correctly in the arena
• Fixed an issue where the player would get stuck in the air in one of the Breeze’s dungeon jumping pads.
• Fixed a some typos
