Serene Skies was born from the idea of combining two of my favourite genres; arcade flight games such as Ace Combat, H.A.W.X, and Project Wingman together with the great romantic storytelling of visual novels like Clannad, Katawa Shoujo, and Kindred Spirits on the Roof.
