At start dev wrote that this game is focused on story. I can understand that. What I can’t understand is why this story must be so exhausting. Seriously. MC is total puss while his “best friend” is such pain in the ass that I’m angry from reading her anger tantrum. Every normal person would isolate from that toxic psycho but nooo not MC since he is apparently masochist.
I get it. It’s dev 1st game but dude… If you focus on story at least make it good because protagonist with borderline and bipolar is NOT good story. It makes me want to hit her face. 2/10 since it works but i can’t make myself read this anymore.
Welcome to most Harem MC’s these days. Seriously, most game authors or Anime authors seem to think general kindness and aloof (or interested enough in many women while being smart enough not to openly commit to any of them specifically) means the guy has a sign on his back reading “bend me over and walk all over me, I’ll be your bitch.” I had to quit Eternum because a Tsundere character actually assaulted the MC for him catching her naked when she didn’t properly close the bathroom door (Devs: NO ONE does this – you punish the player for wanting to look, and you know we want to look. It’s what you bank on. Literally) and HE was the one to apologize… and after that bullshit I was supposed to want to keep pursuing her? No.
Thanks for the warning. I was thinking of trying this one out. If you like Harems but don’t want the MC to be a spineless bitch, there’s Nephylim, Crimson High – if you don’t mind a lot of reading, it’s not lewd focused – and Cosy Cafe. There’s also WVM and Homelander, and To Be A King, but those last two are VERY slow to update. Like to the point you’ll wonder if they’ve been abandoned. WVM is not much better, sad to say. You could try Simple Days as well, or My Employee’s Family. The last I’d recommend is Fractured Realms. It’s a bit newer than the others, but it’s got some potential. Oh, there’s The New Antioch as well – but that one is a little harder to actually make it a harem. It can be, but does require a walkthrough for help to not fuck up in choices.
Go back to Eternum. It suck at start but later it’s amazing. Nephilim (You mispelled name), Homelander, To Be a King, Fractured Realms, Simple Days, Cosy Cafe and New Antioch downloaded. Crimson High is great game indeed. WVM download is unfunny joke and after reading comments I passed on trying to run it long time ago.

I’ve tried Babysitter, it’s not terrible (but I found it a bit confusing to get the harem activated while avoiding NTR) I’ve tried Leap of Faith (Dropped it after the Ex came back; said she was Married now – but still fucked the MC, and swore it would be only the once… I HATE stuff like that. It’s convoluted, and I think the game is marked Harem so not only convoluted but confusing as well) I’ve played FILF, but I think it was either gettting frangmented or was getting too invested in the political aspect (MC is a Teen… helping the female mayor who’s already attached, just to maybe get some… nope) It wasn’t a bad game I just don’t think it knew what it wanted to be, or where it wanted to go. I dropped Lust Theory too. The story liked to blue ball and frankly I agree about the second and third seasons. Melody pissed me off about how they went for the ending (it was setting it up like it was going to be a harem game… and Nope!) Ataegina pissed me off in a LOT of ways, and I think they borked the end entirely, but it had the potential to be a good game. [Not enough stat building options, they capped your stats – half the girls who had hearts were barely ever able to get +1 to it – a pointless corruption system that shouldn’t apply to a light path playthrough; the fact that several of the females were either directly les or should’ve been in the harem and weren’t. WAY too many “endings” that didn’t need to be] Sisterly Lust cocked up by making the sister of MC’s friend character get pregnant by BOTH MC and her brother, when I had in my playthrough told him to leave her to me. (Telling the dev directly that she is MINE! – it’s disrespectful to player choice, so she shouldn’t have even been in the game or available in that case) There was no chance to really get involved with the island girls who open the option for marriage to all the girls; and ALL of the girls you were involved with should’ve been married to MC. To keep, as loyal. Instead half of them are rushed end slides ala Fallout New Vegas.
I agree on Desert Stalker – I am waiting to get confirmation that Rubiah’s daughter belongs to MC and get her properly into the harem. I also want the Queen broken and submissive to MC (I am getting really, REALLY tired of the death threats though) Harem Hotel disappoints me because they have a tier calling the girls who are in the harem Whores. Also because it doesn’t seem like it knows where it wants the story to go. Which is a crime for a long term game that is as good as Harem Hotel can be. (Also I want the attendant who checks everyone in to officially be in the damned harem) I don’t think Being Super is abandoned yet. It’s slow as fuck to update, but I think that’s more an issue of support for it, and potentially on the devs in organization or creative blocks. Though if it goes for another 3-6 months with nothing, maybe. Love Sex & Second Base wouldn’t be bad; IF it didn’t have so many ways it wants to and actively tries to fuck you over stat wise. Corrupted Kingdoms lost me when they started trying to integrate an entirely new genre of gaming into the game… and fucked up all your progress at the end of chapter 2. Not to mention trying to fuck with the audience’s head about what exactly the hell the MC actually is. Or isn’t. Or might become. There’s a reason no one likes Multiversal bullshit. They do need to resolve that so that there is a definitive GOOD ending, and it needs to be attainable. As it stands, I’m not going to see it until they iron out every kink in the RPGMaker style content they’re invested in now. Which is badly explained, barely lets you grind, forces losses way too often last time I played and is overall incredibly frustrating.
I keep a seperate folder in bookmarks as Games For Fun (the ones I really like) and Games To Wait On (Games that have potential, but aren’t Great yet) I tend to give many games a try, and I appreciate when replies are approachable. You were right about Eternum. I’m not as fond of the trying for mind-fuckery bits in dreamscape (which either needs to stop, or the dev needs to be CRYSTAL clear about what the hell it’s there for…) or all the sandbox sections where you don’t know what might fuck you over or how to progress without the walkthrough mod. Overall it’s shaping up to be a very compelling game. There were points it’s a bit too much like Sword Art: Online, and there is a new issue with what exactly they WILL make the MC by the end (there is a potential path to Apotheosis) and there is now a point that he’s been seperated from his commited Harem – whom he’s barely even started to be sexual with : / for fuck knows how long… (and just as at least one of them might actually BE pregnant >.< ) but as long as all of that gets resolved cleanly and decisively, and pregnancies are for lack of a better term delivered upon as promised; I will keep playing it.
I will say however, to any and every dev that goes there: DO NOT suggest a path to genuine GODHOOD, or anything even remotely approaching the same idea, if you’re not willing to allow the player to actually GET THERE.
