I don’t know where these 5 star votes are coming from nor why they would be. I’ve played the game for 30 minutes or so and I don’t see what the point is. You’re supposed to do your homework to improve your grades, and keeping your lust low helps you do that faster. Okay, sure. But then your Mommy comes around and hugs you and raises your lust level so then you have to spend all day showering to lower your lust level. Showering, however, tires you out for some reason so you then need to continually nap to up your energy levels so you can study until Mommy’s hugs horn you up again. I’m assuming it’s just a grindy game, but I have yet to see anything worth grinding for. I’m told there are women talking downstairs periodically, but I only have access to three rooms: my bedroom, Mommy Dearest’s bedroom, and the bathroom which, as mentioned, soon became my second home due to all the requisite showering. The game looks good enough, I guess, so there might be hope for future updates, but right now there isn’t much to speak of.
In the interest of fairness, I’ve played a bit more and the game does actually get to business eventually, so I may have been a bit too harsh. I’m still not sure if I triggered my Mommy’s desire to sleep in my bed with me by dint of my improved studies, or if it was just triggered by the passage of time. Regardless, the game may be more fleshed out than I initially gave it credit for. Still grindy, but most of these games are, and it least there is something of a payoff for the grind. Where my sister at, though? And will I ever be able to join the conversation downstairs? It’s worth investing a little more time to find out, I guess.
Probably 5 stars for Dev and co-workers.
I will wait to rate. Another game of Dev was 3 stars (isolated with mom v0.2a before rework is better than 0.6).
