  • The visual novel scenes of the game were lacking in visual flair, so this update aims to make them less static

  • Each act uses a different pool of skills, so the skills you find in Act 2 will be stronger than in Act 1
  • This is to ensure a gradual escalation of power without giving the player more skill slots and energy
  • These skills also feature new buffs/debuffs
  • Certain skills can appear in multiple acts
• New dialogue
  • Various characters in the game now build up a pool of topics they’ll discuss at random
  • They may also make commentary on specific skills or sentiments you’ve acquired

GUI CHANGES/ADDITIONS

• Main font has been replaced
  • The old font, as fancy as it was, wasn’t very legible
  • The new font should both be easier on the eyes AND it supports multiple languages
• Main menu changes
  • Now features credits
  • New animations for when you click on a button and when you quit the game
• Slightly reduced the transparency of tooltips for buffs and skills
  • This should ensure that tooltips are more legible at the lowest possible resolution

GRAPHICS

• Adjusted the breathing animation of enemies
• The screen now shakes slightly when dealing/receiving damage
• Added some additional particle effects

BUG FIXES

• Fixed a bug where an event could be encountered multiple times in the same run
