About Fairy Tale Adventure
In short, this game is a roleplaying adult game that takes place in the fairy tale universe. It follows an original character (one entirely up to your creation) in his quest to become to ruler of every single land in the fairy tale world. As you travel, you meet and befriend famous characters such as Rumplestiltskin, Alice from the wonderland story, Jack from the beanstalk story and many more. You also meet and and have the option to romance and/or capture all the fairy tale princesses.
The game itself aims to be as open world as possible with the general idea being to create a world where there is in fact, so much for you to do that you end up getting worn out with options. Do you befriend the bandits in the forest and start a small group? Join up with the thieves in the city and work on a private section? Kill the giant that lives up in the clouds or beat the living daylights out of the seven dwarves.

The Big Update:
Q. Masquerade, why is it taking so long?- We all have jobs now so instead of relying on patreon funds as we used to, every member of the group is paying for artwork. Due to this, we've been able to get some high rez art and new styles. We're taking the professional approach to development now.
Q. What does 2.5 have?
- Both paths. We still haven't decided how we're going to place these two. Do we release both paths and allow the player to play one then play the other? Or do we implement both into the story at the same time? Drop a comment if you have a preference.
Q. What sort of scenes does it have and for which characters?
- We are trying to get scenes for every female character in the game. We've invested about £1000 into that section alone. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Q. What about my character?
- This is partly one of our issues currently. As you may know, we lost our previous project manager who made most of those decisions. This is where the complication comes from. Give us some time!
Q. Any dates?
- Our group has never been one to reveal dates so that we don't fall into the trap of delaying. There is nothing worse than a delay and we understand that. It shall be soon!

The description of this game is completely off base. It is neither as “open world as possible” nor is there a lot for you to do. It is in fact a visual novel and progress through the story involves a vast amount clicking through text with very little user input beyond confirming you want to go down the path you’re forced into. The story is rushed, throwing characters and villains at you then only to have them recede into the background almost immediately. You can tell the author is trying to do some world building but this occurs at such a rapid pace that you don’t actually care – you travel through time, visit foreign lands, and goto the afterlife so quickly that you don’t have time to realize that none of these places have any depth or are interesting. Also, if you are looking for an erotic game, look elsewhere. Save for a few graphic scenes, 99 percent of the game is just reading dialogue.
