It is okay that the Incest Patch is just a .txt file saying “put this on the file root of the game”? As far as I know .txt can’t have so much power.
on start, the game will probably look in the root folder for a file called ‘patch.txt’ or whatever it’s called – the state of the file could be stored in a boolean (true/false) variable and used to determine dialogue
Original dev should have put a copyright on his game lol. Honestly though – fan art is more enjoyable than remakes of this game at this point.
