No one knows how deep it goes and no one knows what lies in the deepest layers of the Abyss. What people do know is that there are incredible wonders to be found, but also a corrupting miasma that infuses the entire area. No one who ventures deep into the Abyss comes out looking the same way they went in.

Yes, it is Made in Abyss. Yes, the game contains all the same tags as the source universe, and a few more. No, the main cast are not present. In its’ present state, the game caters towards self-imposed and self-inflicted roleplay since the art and writing are actually quite well done and cheating is easy to find and do. Lots of complex interactions between items, events, and curses, so you’re bound to find more than a few bugs and dead-ends, but only because the sandbox is legit fun to dig through. Without cheats, specific outcomes have to be earned with knowledge and planning which is tough since there’s fewer scripted scenes than there are imaginable scenarios with all the tools provided; debilitating an npc, stripping their memories, and romancing them from that point will not result in scenes where you take care of your new pet, only a gameplay scenario where they consume food and carry nothing. You will encounter scenarios where you will have to imagine the details.
If you have a vivid imagination and can handle a few bad ends, this game is for you.
