WOW to damn short no content and confusing …. last story you were separated from every one but your mother now your all together HOW THE HELL THAT HAPPEN!!!
stupid in the first version you could change the name this one you cant …
Like Wartribe Origins > your FIRST game is still marked Ongoing… Finish. The. First. Damned. Game. BEFORE! You try to start another one. Fuck me, why is this a hard concept?
Splitting the story down two different arcs is NEVER good practice. It will fragment both, stretch you too thin as an author, and very likely get you lost as to where you were in either plot at some point. for both stories. The ONLY way it would work is if you are VERY meticulous in your notes, and/or are telling the same story by slight variance in perspectives, at the same time done; and are STILL. VERY. METICULOUS. In your notes. For both paths.
It’s not easy to do. As a writer I’ve only tried it once, and it was decently difficult. Most writers who try to start a new series at the time they are currently writing another will let both drop off for losing the plot. That’s just what happens.
Since Game Development is NOT only dependant on the writer; You all but invariably WILL likely fuck something up, or harm the quality in both games trying to start a new tale before you finish the first one. This is either a sign you’ve written yourself into a corner you can’t get yourself out of – a new season wherein they haven’t marked the first season completed (and I’m being generous with that notion) or you don’t know how you want to end the first game to start with. None of those options bode well for your current content.
