Violet Ice, along with others who have lost hope in life, participates in Dr. Q’s human enhancement program. She is the only one who succeeds, while the others undergo strange transformations, becoming erratic. Dr. Q’s original intention is to help them regain hope in life, uphold justice, and fight crime against the weak. Violet Ice becomes a hero in the city of Ami, but also faces immense envy and hatred.
A researcher named Akai, from a wealthy family, also sought to participate in the program, but Dr. Q disapproved. Filled with resentment, she used her family’s funds to replicate the enhancement device and experimented on herself. Akai rescued three serious criminals held in the police station. Together, the four of them sparred and launched a revenge plot against Ami City’s hero, Violet Ice, hoping to lure Dr. Q back. They hoped to leverage Dr. Q’s power to orchestrate a larger conspiracy, perhaps even controlling the entire city.1​
