Harem is literally the EASIEST possible fucking genre to write and all of you asshole devs somehow seem to want to treat it like Dark Souls. Why? Who killed your dog. What girl was such a bitch to you that you want to make them all imperious, sactimonious arrogant assholes? First – there’s no need for a MISC section in the replays. The girl is either IN the harem, or she’s not. Second, Natalie’s introduction makes her an ass. Of the highest order. No one sane pulls that kind of crap with someone they genuinely do not know, and they are aware they don’t know. But I won’t care about that because you put a kid taht DIDN’T NEED TO BE IN THE GAME THAT EARLY into the game; and then fucking just as randomly KILLED HER OFF. For what? Kick the puppy points? How the fuck did you think that choice was going to win you Paetron support. Or ANY support. I am legitimately curious.
It’s a harem game. There’s not even Dating sim listed to muck up the potential genre. It’s basically let me ENDEAR you to my characters, and share a happy, loving romantic MARSHMALLOW of a story for FUCK SAKES. You want Existential Horror crap you can go do Sci Fi. Or actual horror games. I don’t think I’ll be playing past the fucking intro now. I’ve been to enough funerals in my life, thank you. I damn near died myself last year. I was stage three. One more stage and I wouldn’t be here writing this comment. Maybe you dipshits want to think about that before you come out with this edgy pointlessly grimdark bullshit that LITERALLY DOES NOT BELONG IN THE GENRE. I want to beat the unholy shit out of you; and I don’t even know you. All I can say is, seek help. Go actually seek psychological help. You need it, if you think any of this was the best way to introduce a story.
A) It’s not grief to auto marry the first girl we even meet in game that isn’t our mother – SKIP to a point where not only is she NOT pregnant; she’s already given birth. Insult the fuck out of the main character the WHOLE damned time = JUST TO HAVE HER RANDOMLY AUTO DIE OFF FUCKING SCREEN IN TWO SECONDS… and THEN SKIP 8 fucking years forward. For NO GOOD REASON.
There is no context to WHY she dies. There was no mention of a pre-existing medical condition. If you want to say the stitching tore (They do stitch the area because there will be tearing, and sometimes badly but mostly it’s natural) or she hemorrhaged, fine. However they’d usually do that in the hospital. Most problems that kill a mother that soon after giving birth would have killed her DURING the birth, or shortly enough after that they’d not have left the fucking hospital. This was just a bullshit plot device.
But since you skipped eight years just to sweep it under the rug – I don’t trust your writing ability enough to think this will be any sort of GOOD harem game. The main character is also in desperate need of a FACIAL glow up. It worked to give him Ella because she wasn’t exactly the Swan, or a princess. (Her attitude was also massively assumptive, not endearing to anyone that wasn’t a masochist to start with and SHE WAS THE ONE AT FAULT AND SINCE SHE WASN’T A PEDESTRIAN SHE WAS THE ONE THAT WOULD BE CHARGED. So that whole I’m going to pay for your wheel thing was absolute bullshit!) She got hurt because SHE wasn’t watching where she was going. Period.
But again, you created a self insert character to pop out an albatross plot device; likely just to make him seem like a shit father, and then buh bye. She’s Gone Girl. How the fuck is the audience supposed to want to “grieve” a character that poorly fleshed out, that we know for 3 FUCKING SECONDS. What did you get your writing credentials from Fallout 4? Come on. [Also it potentially negates the option of Pregnancy content and you dickheads would justify it by saying “MC’s got scars… Durh.” There is NEVER A GOOD REASON TO KILL OFF A GIRL IN A HAREM Game!]
