About The Exiled Demon Prince
The Exiled Demon Prince is a story-rich, immersive high-fantasy VN/RPG hybrid that offers the player significant agency, with a lot of depth to character progression and choices.
You play as Illidan, the third prince of a powerful demon empire, who, due to a conspiracy orchestrated by his own mother, is banished to the human territory. Left on an unfamiliar land and with few choices, Illidan embarks on a journey that will test his strength, resilience, and understanding of both himself and those around him. Along the way, he forges deep bonds with numerous companions, each shaping his path in unexpected ways. As he unravels the mysteries of his past, he begins to uncover a truth far greater than he ever imagined – one that not only explains the events of his childhood but also reveals the hidden nature of the world itself-

First; fuck the idea of some random talent increasing EXP by 50% = you could increase each value by 700 % it would still take years to NOT make this asshole suck at his job.
— you NEED to fix that axe minigame (the green bar is NOT nearly large enough to time it right, and sometimes the thing moves way too fast anyway = do you want to piss your players off???)
— Every Animal that you face from the beginning of the game does NOT get to be 5 levels higher than the player is. You set it to the SAME damned level! Combine that with decent exp gain and THAT is how you build the player up. We will get to why this is important…
— Every Animal also needs to give you a set amount of gold if your economy is going to be that borked and Mommy Dickheaded-est didn’t think to give you a bag of gold to actually help you SURVIVE. Or even buy a weapon (Which fucking well should come with your class pick; and SHOULD BE EQUIPPED FROM THE START!) Why???
== Because you do FUCK ALL damage as a Warrior. You WILL get hit no matter what the hell class you pick; and you don’t get HP Regen (You can do magic regen and this dipshit’s a DEMON… but he doesn’t have healing magic as a base trait or even quick healing?!? Come the fuck on. Even as a lazy ass > he NEEDS to be able to counter the things the basic enemies can do to fuck the player over from the start.
— Your economy lists the starting weapons as WAY too expensive for what you can realistically gain [Without the player being blue balled and or bored out of their mind trying] You set up two quests to effectively give you 100 coins and then TAKE 100 coins. For no good reason (You killed the rat, with the “crippling” fear you make her display EVERY FUCKING CLOTHING PIECE YOU NEED FOR THE START OF THE GAME IS FREE!) You are trying too hard to fuck over your player base.
— Guard Shifts NEED to be minimum every 2 days. Or worth a HELL of a lot more than they are. OR here’s a tip if you don’t end up doing the class weapon stuff = Give me a fucking proper weapon! How the fuck do you want me to win a fight against ANYTHING in this game that isn’t level 1… and even that is a gamble really, without anything to fight with? You have a skill based reward system for leveling the skills & No viable way to purchase 90% of the shit that would allow the player to INTERACT with it. {Also – the very first BLUE interaction on my guard shift brought a pain in the ass in cutscenes that YOU DON’T LET ME TELEPORT BEHIND AND PUT MY KNIFE TO HIS NECK, THEN TELL HIM IF HE WANTS TO KEEP BEING ALIVE IN THE NEXT THREE SECONDS; HE GETS TO FUCK RIGHT OFF. Permanently…
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! You have no fucking idea how much I hate the problem of ONLY letting the MC seem like a badass when YOU want him to, rather than when it would actually MAKE SENSE. * NOT a good way to introduce the characters in your world. That scene actively makes the girl MORE TROUBLE THAN SHE’S WORTH TO PURSUE. Period. In a HAREM game… Fuck me. There are some things you just do not do. And if you’re going to, not this damned early in the game. It’s not a good way to make anyone want to keep playing, or actually romance her. And THIS is also exactly why you need to be stronger; need to have balanced EXP gains/skill gains/the ability to fucking PURCHASE the gear you want in an RPG. Do NOT be an absolute DICK to your playerbase dev. It’s not necessary.
I laud the intention of multiple features that make this a credible RPG.
I also question your implementation.
It needs work.
Because right now, the only thing it’s good for is endless blue balling, on many levels. I’ll give you five more updates since this is probably the debut. Consider this me pointing out where you might improve. Rather than genuinely criticizing anything. Other than perhaps the fact his mother’s a complete asshole, for no known reasons. At this point, with what she’s pulled, it seems more like she’s actively trying to get him killed rather than help him be any sort of stronger.
