1st things 1st – while I did enjoy this, its not a game. There are some initial elements of gameplay/CYOA, bit afterwards it just turns into a straight visual novel, which isn’t bad, in fact the story is engaging, but if you are looking for gameplay – don’t play this.
What this VN really is is a story about a couple of guys coming to terms with their sexuality. It is pretty well done, but ultimately clicking through endless conversations of which I am not invested in is simply really boring.
I am really enjoying this game. It is surprisingly deep. I thought it was going to be all about bedding the straight roommate but it is so much more than that. The build up to that former goal is slow and steady. It builds anticipation like slow cooking builds flavor and texture. And just when you think you are getting somewhere specific, the designer throws another layer of complexity into the mix. More than a sex romp, it is a tale of discovery, both for the protagonist, and myself.
so if you don’t like sex or seeing anything that is remotely related to sex this is the game for you
