People who don’t like NTR or being pegged aren’t trolls, just because they don’t have the same kinks as you.

Not my usual cup of tea as it’s not Harem and does not have a pregnancy tag, nor is one likely… but I will weigh in on the Dev’s posted amendments:

= First, you’re likely to get far LESS backlash if the NTR content IS actually ENTIRELY “optional” so there’s that.

Second Troll Dev has a point; and it’s what so many devs who wade into the NTR controversy get wrong about it. The definition of Netorare is that X participant is usually coersed/blackmailed (read NOT WILLING) by someone they DON’T WANT to be fucking > while in an existing actually sexual relationship. They are thusly compelled to infidelity, to the extent that they will deny their actual partner sexual congress. Because of some actual or imagined power said blackmailer/coercing person has over them; and eventually completely negate the previous relationship’s sexual component in favor of the new one.

Which in most NTR anime was never intended to begin in the first place (is often times more akin to rape in the ludicrous idea that sex with a “bigger” dick will “bend/break” her mind… >.< What it will do is potentially seriously INJURE her internally, and make her far less inclined to participate next time) and generally assumes the male previously either doesn’t know about her infidelity (which is funny when some of them are gone for hours of the day, while married or girlfriends, if not months disappeared. It happens once or twice, okay. Maybe she’s planning an event or something but eventually the excuses if she bothers would not line up – and the males usually aren’t stated to be DENSE) or actively wants to be cuckolded.

Also avoiding any potential realistic viable path for the FEMALE to have the agency to get out of said unwanted indecent proposal, and actively continue (with acceptable alterations) her previous relationship. Literally ALL of that is flawed assumption. In actuality, the male is more likely to end the relationship if he DOES find out about it, she would NOT get alimony (potentially not even child support, since it may not be provable that the child belongs to her former spouse) and she would be stuck with the arse that’s just as likely to move on to the next target as a conquest. Or in at least two cases of NTR anime I am aware of the female SHOULD have had a lot more agency to avoid/get out of her situation if it’d been written with any level of common sense.

There’s are good reasons most players don’t like NTR. They aren’t JUST “trolling.” And saying so is first, intentionally combative for a person that doesn’t want the drama, and second, fairly passive aggressive. Especially for someone that doesn’t actually HAVE to have ever implemented the sort of content you know will court this drama. The ones that do enjoy it, can have it, and there are more than enough games that indulge that legitimate fetish/perversion. The problem with implementation for most devs is they assume that the audience is invested in the “thrill” of it, and decide the main male love interest is just going to WANT to be a cuckold. Player choice does matter. In fact, it’s paramount; so agency to control what we see, IF we see anything, and when it stops is important. Too many devs just do as you said you would and indulge themselves. Which does tend to piss players off in lacking the option to not take such paths.

I will wish you luck. You’re going to need it. Because I can see in the overview at least two reasons that have fuck and all to do with NTR content, why this story wouldn’t fly.

A) Involving the porn industry as a base job for either main character to start with (there’s a reason most porn stars have so many ex husbands/ex wives and or emotional/mental trauma)

B) A female love interest that’s almost too old to even CONSIDER breeding. Paired with a guy that’s not even twenty five years old. She could be Cindy Crawford in the 1990’s, and that still likely wouldn’t be a viable relationship. (Consciously done or no, most relationships of a sexual nature begin with the notion that this is a person I WANT to breed with. Or think might eventually be a viable partner to share my bloodline) Sex is REPRODUCTIVE in purpose. The pleasure point is and always has been the carrot on the stick. Not the reason we keep allowing ourselves to CHASE the carrot. There is a reason why older men will go after younger females, and younger females do tend to be more accepting of older men. It DOES NOT work as well inverse.
