There’s no DESERT areas (areas that are over hot – tropical) that have to my knowledge been depicted yet. The ONLY reason we’re not all White/Asian/Black or Hispanic is because CLIMATE. There’s a reason that your body types are more physically lean in muscle overall – your people were from a place where Hunting was your survival. White people adapted technologically faster. Technology – and more food security – made things easier. We became less predisposed to a Hunter’s natural build (and that isn’t even across the board)

IF there was a stated Desert area, or some place the sun was uniquely more unrelenting and harsh on this fantasy world – you would naturally see darker skinned peoples who have adapted to such environs. Most Isekai focus’ on places like central Europe/Japan. Where you’re far more likely to see pale as fuck. Or rice paper. You might get a few variants of Tan maybe. But actual “black” (which funny enough most of you are every shade of, or deep brown…) isn’t what you’re going to get. Hell in Desert Stalker, there are plenty of darker toned people – BECAUSE it makes sense for the peoples to have developed that way. It’s still not a racial issue. You aren’t complaining about all the games where a black person fucks a white guy’s girl, I do note.

In fantasy, if you’re going for a regional/historical piece – you need to write close enough to how it actually WOULD have been. Not what you agree with politically. But people like you want homongeny; in EVERYTHING. Because you have no imagination and can’t grasp the fact that in those times > travel in safety was highly less likely. MUCH more expensive to impossibly so, and generally NOT done. If so, never without risk, or easily. Same thing with dumbass’ that bothered Warhorse Studios for not putting Black characters in the middle of Medieval POLAND for fuck sakes. Because by and large there were like 3 of them MAYBE in that time, that could’ve gotten there – and would have the ability to try. Then Warhorse caved on that, in KCD 2 = and all the players that ENJOYED the fact they’d been mostly historically accurate flambe’d them for bending the knee to morons.

If I’m playing a Japanese Fuedal era game – I’m half Irish and Casper’s second cousin twice removed. I’m not going to expect to “See Myself” in that world. It did happen eventually; and inarguably altered their culture into today… if I’m playing Prince of Persia, I’m not expecting the prince to be Jake Gyllenhal (funny – I know) Tell me: If you’re playing the game version of Snow White: Do you see Rachael Zigler? At that point do you even recognize why the fucking story was titled the way that it was. Why the Main Character was called Snow White. If I’m playing a game set in Africa with it’s heroes; I’m not going to expect to see very many white dudes. (And I would expect the same racial tensions that existed between white people and basically EVERY “indigenous” culture) Because it’s not going to be a game that is heavily based on white people. And that’s okay. It makes no one actually racist. Not putting a skin color in a game where they don’t have a reasonable means to exist – is NOT racist. It would break immersion, to cater to modern world views, and that’s apparently your thing. Much like the authors of this game wouldn’t know actual Dominance if it tied them to a bed and made them beg it to call it Master. My Pussy’s Owner, or My Babies’ Daddy. (The last one would STILL mark Ownership… just so you know Devs)
