Confused about how the downloading works? Here is a handy guide
- Extract and run.
- TO use the DLC, download, and drop in games folder.
- Transfer file Installation: Extract this file on your PC. Copy what is inside the 'game' folder and put it into V0.7 '\game' folder. Load a save in v0.7 and complete the game. It'll ask if you want to save and let you name it. Do so and when you load up version 8 and start a new game it will let you load in the file.

Where is version 7? it’s required to transfer saves to chapter 3.
new update will not show anything prior to chapter 8
I will try again to explain. With the release of Chapter 8 – the author said, that they reworked the whole game (Start Chapter 8 – you see a completely new in-game Menu) and he also did this to the previous chapters (which would mean that the Chapter 1-7 should have a similar menu).
The current download for 7 looks like the old and the save files do not carry over / are not recognized by chapter 8. Another indicator is that the DLC content shall be included in the new chapter 1-7. If there is a separate download it means it the the old engine – and it seems this means that saves do not carry over. This author ensures that game choices carry over with the chapters.
with the release of v8 the game got revamped – DLC included AND split in chapter 1+2 and chapter 3.
Chapter 1+2 contain content up to V7 – V7 alone is missing – It would be great if there was an upload of the revamped chapters 1+2

Is game dead? This game along with The Guardian, Secrets of Whispering Pines and Blackheart Hotel are all tied together.. Blackheart Hotel been finished for along time.. But this game and The Guardian hasn’t been updated for a long time.. And Secrets just came out a few months ago..
