A couple of points having played past the prologue:
= EVEN if you say this is story focused; do not make the player grind to relationship level 20+ with ANY girl before you even get to a handjob. That will cost you subs for lost patience. (Most of the girls are not THAT level of endearing – and at least one of them is an ICE WALL)
= You can at least LIST every freaking girl to give a tip as to HOW to unlock them. Most places don’t even unlock until X interaction in the story and you’re risking players feeling like they WILL miss content they might want to see because you want to lock off characters that don’t need to be mystery boxes.
= Veronika/Lucy: Veronika does not need to be that much of a cock block; I got to the first WEEKEND being DONE. How much “give her time” does she need (do away with the “Tolerance” bar too – she DOES NOT get to be “special” Unless she’s literally an emotional RETARD! if it’s not going to be love with her the way it is with EVERY. OTHER. GIRL. SO FAR… what is she doing in the damned game?!?
And Lucy’s level 2 to get to 3 says just wait around. Nice “tip” Asshole – where, and when? Because the only way I found to do that was the weather app, and it took me back to my room when I tried it from the afternoon to evening. From evening to night – nada. You also DON’T need to waste an entire freaking day with ONE girl each time. Or just about. Because their content CONFLICTS in time spots. Do you know how many of us gamers HATE THAT???
= Weekends. Do NOT make any girl require me to wait an entire fucking WEEK to get to the next level. That is and always has been STUPIDLY gating; and it’s NEVER worth it. Especially not in a “slow burn” like this that seems to want to absolutely FREEZE MY DAMNED NUTS OFF! Half of your girls are furry bullshit; one of them is old enough breeding likely should not be possible (I would be pleasantly surprised if it IS possible at some point…) and NONE of them shoud require 7 FULL FUCKING DAYS to get to ANY point in their content. Because it’s going to take a SHIT ton of time to actually see anything worth seeing WITHOUT it taking a week (when again – several girls’ next arc CONFLICTS by using the same damned slot – MORE THAN ONCE!)
Other than that – ALLOW the player to get a job. If you’d structure this shit the right way, cheat codes won’t be necessary. Seriously – ALLOW THE ASSHAT TO WORK!!! (You had him buy a gift for Nora WITH HER OWN FUCKING MONEY!!!!! >.< And she thanks him as “considerate” In what goddamned world? * The issue is not the gift itself – that was both kind and considerate; the issue is it wasn’t paid for by the player’s choice with MC’s OWN MONEY. Which he SHOULD’VE been able to earn from the START of the game AT BASE without having to explore a goddamned thing – because you obviously want some of these events to COST money ** If you’re going to make us grind for scenes, at least allow us to grind for the right fucking things)
== Did Kaz’ FIRST fucking scene really need to have her go into a sex shop for a goddamned VIBRATOR? (You’re lucky it was only a vibrator – if it was a dildo, I’d have dropped the game right there for pointless idiocy) Way to introduce a character guys… hey I barely know you, but I’m going to drag your happy ass all through the mall; then make you WAIT for X time alone because I can’t help but want to get my lady rocks off… but wait, why are you here again?!? (There are not enough faces to palm – even against the whole fucking world) The issue here is pacing. Pure and simple > If you put that scene AFTER they’d actually STARTED being sexual, she can tease him with it; and it gives the player something to build on/hope for more with. Or feeds the whole kinked free spirit thing. The way you have done it CAN be a brick wall to players’ investment. [Some will think she’s just a slut and tap out of any real romantic investment to chase just “easy” sex, some will assume if she has a toy, MC is not needed. You DON’T want either of those things] I did continue on, but the only reason I stuck through what I know is going to be WAY too much blue balling now, is because NONE of the rest of the arcs so far have been that level of stupid.
Also – Tell Ashley they made a game when I was in grade school (like a LOT of years ago) called Number Munchers. There IS a video game that’s based entirely on math… But good luck finding a floppy disk for it. (If you don’t know what those are – case in point. I did say a lot of years…)
And most of coding is some form of Equation/formula (There was no need to take that many passive aggressive swipes at your own freaking audience guys; even if you got me with “spam the attack button”)
Gamer’s literally solved a scientific equation that had actual RESEARCHERS stumped. She’s NOT stupid. Gaming can also teach you budgeting, inventory management and survival tactics. You will learn things from different genres – and pattern recognition. There’s a reason they do flight simulations in the air force, and run combat simulations in the military. Gaming IS a viable skill set. It’s just not an easily PROFITABLE skill set (and even then you have people like Ninja… so maybe tone it down. A lot)
