Intertwined

This is what royally pissed me off in this visual novel because the author has the nerve to make the protagonist play The Witcher and comment on how he hates that the game forces him to choose one of Geralt’s love interests and mercilessly reject the other and yet, this is exactly what he makes in this visual novel because he imposes exclusive relationships on you, which I hate because I hate rejecting people for the sole absurd reason that I already love someone as if I wasn’t able to love more than one person, and even more because this author has the hypocrisy to criticize how The Witcher makes you flirt with every woman you meet and yet still imposes monogamy on you and he does the exact same thing in his visual novel! 😡

At first, I chose Lexi & Erynn over Layla, Elena & Valeria because my character had history with the older girls (Erynn is the childhood friend and first love & Lexi was the first kiss) while the younger ones are new acquaintances.
However, after all the bullshit drama with the older girls, I changed my mind and chose the younger ones instead, which felt like a relief because there is no drama (yet) with them so far, even though I expect some later when they will eventually find out that they are blood-related and that they have been dating their own sibling, sigh, so predictable and so avoidable yet still forced on us, so boring. 😒

By the way, are you not sick of the overdose of make-up in this visual novel?!
I swear the girls abuse so much of make-up to the point to look like racoons that I always expect a zombie break-out from a mansion in the city at any moment! (Racoon City, got it? 😁)

Also, the point of the story is that everyone is unawarely related because the protagonist’s father fucked and impregnated every woman in the city and therefore every girl in the city around the same age as the protagonist are actually his sisters but no one is aware of it, which I struggle to take seriously because for this to be possible implies that no woman in the city ever talked to each other about the man they were dating, which I just can’t believe.
Moreover, Adriana Moore and Gabi Ramirez are both married to the same man, Santiago Navarro, however none of them has the name of their husband because that would ruin the “big revelation” that they are both married to the same man who happens to be the protagonist’s father, which is obvious nevertheless but the story is completely made of these too convenient plot devices which are not credible.
What I mean is that the whole story is only even possible at all because its world is too conveniently illogical for the plot to work at all.
And the worst part of it all is that the protagonist is oblivious to EVERY SINGLE clue all around him, I mean I am not omniscient, I know only what the protagonist knows, and yet, I already figured out a lot while the protagonist lives in blissful ignorance oblivious to everything right around him even though he knows as much as I know but doesn’t pay attention nor thinks at all at anything, which infuriates me! 🤬
Because if the protagonist was smart, then he would connect the dots instantly as I do and the plot would be solved fast, avoiding all the predictable drama coming from all the “big revelations” that the author keeps for later even though they are so predictable.
Do you have any idea how frustrating it feels to me to see the predictable drama coming from miles and not be able to avoid it because my character is a dumbass who is oblivious to everything?
I can see it coming, all the “WHAT?! WE ARE BLOOD-RELATED?! NOOOOOO, THIS IS THE WORST, HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!”, this is too predictable, I have been expecting it for a long time already, I will not be astonished, I will be bored because I saw it coming from miles and still was not allowed to anticipate it because I was stuck with a dumb as fuck character which infuriates me, sigh…
And I have been growing increasingly impatient to witness the fury of the women when they will FINALLY find out that they have all unawarely (been) dating the same man for years, some have even been impregnated by him or/and married him, and none of them is aware of this fact, I can’t wait to witness their reaction when they will FINALLY find out the truth! 😈
