Hard Times

With every new update, I’ve had to restart the entire game. Each time. That gets frustrating really quickly, aside from the very slow burn of any actual romance build up. I do feel this would be better as a harem game, or one that can be made into a harem with time. Some players don’t deal well with presented choices too late into a story line, or feeling like they will be penalized for later changing their mind on a girl they were pursuing. I also feel like the MC is written a little too passively thus far, to ever effectively take the reigns of the organization like I think the author is gearing to show he should. The “dragon” character is more than capable already; and that’s the point. The MC is supposed to BE the dragon character (In troupe, the secretly super capable one, even if he comes out of nowhere, that ends up being able to rally and or lead better than his supposed superior)

You’d actually have to fully train MC up with the Dragon, and then kill the dragon character currently right off, in order to have him step into the role (but having an assassin capable son, an elder female who seems like she at least has a head for the business side of things and a younger daughter who may just be the savant of the mob world if she had any interest at all in it, is too many cooks in the kitchen as far as replacements for power at the base) What I mean is it literally lessens the MC’s necessity in the story at all. Which isn’t what I think is intended thus far. The family has almost no reason to really trust him, up to the last point I played he’s just getting his feet wet, and hasn’t really done anything except in plot armor save the head of the family, and catch a card shark once. Yet either of the daughters might be romanced (it should be both without ANY consequence, since it looks like you’re heading there in story anyway to get the best result) by someone who’s a relative noob to Mob life. The story would work better if the organization had a skill set missing that MC could fill, and fill very well. Better than anyone else. So far, that hasn’t been set up. Maybe you’ll get there at some point. I don’t know. Having to restart the whole game every time has dented my desire to bother trying to play it.

On a personal note, the girl that seems least interested in pursuing a relationship with MC at all (which for this style of game IS a turn off) is also the most physically attractive [Thanks to certain moles and jarring aesthetics on the elder sister’s model – Though I do like the body, the facial features could be polished is all I’m saying. She’s not ugly, by any stretch, but she’s not attractive enough – in my own opinion – to be worth all the risk MC undertakes with attempting to pursue her] character model. I don’t think we’ve seen much of the MC so for all I know he’s Boris Karloff in full Frankenstein mode, versus his bride(s) if that’s what you’re going for… Trick or Treat dude. More power to you; he needs the volts.
