Friends in Need

I’m a “whiny child” (and you guys wonder exactly why I changed my name and provided a fake email JUST so I no longer have to see that you’ve made your replies, and thus feel compelled to respond) and you’re on a SEX game site. Lauding a game that puts you in the friend zone. While fucking with your head the whole way, because I’m not the one that DESIGNED the damned thing to effectively BE a harem – It’s only not in the tags because the Dev is an arse. You can, and will pursue most of the women, in general because it’s CONTENT. So you invariably will get INVOLVED with these women. Most of the time it will be sexual. That’s what most of us are actually here for.

You can feel free to call me a whiny child; that’s your right and opinion. I disagree, and I’ll add that white knighting this hard isn’t going to make you get the end of the game any faster. Nor will it guarantee it’ll end the way you want.

The characters are “interesting” to you. They all read either Social Politics check box or Drama to me. Rich girl was a drug addict, decided to “rebel against daddy” for muh activism. That’s really interesting. Rich daddy tells you stay away from my daughter – even though MC is literally rich as well and could take away the fact she’s a drain on his resources… but no. We can’t have the player thinking they’ll actually GET anywhere with a girl they CAN have. There’s a girl with one leg, for no good reason. a Trans character who doesn’t need to be anything but a woman; and can actually just be FEMALE if the player chooses, but “believes” she’s a male = you want me to clap real hard and tell you I believe in fairies if you’re poisoned too. Gabi is every idiot’s IDEA of “submissive.” And the last person in the world a true dominant would want anything to do with for more than two second. Her mother is worse. Brittani would be something, but she’s got a gold digging mom, so that’s drama split down THREE seperate paths for no good reason. That doesn’t count pepper doesn’t need a “twin.” She could straight up have just been the cam girl that gets shoved into every one of these fucking games. Just because the concept exists.

I will state again: the blonde model girl next door so far is the only actual good character. She straight up IS interested. Is willing to be open about relationships (and is okay with it as long as you’re honest – so no drama)

Other than that we have the listed above, plus a single mom as the hotel manager. Who we can semi (not really – because she’s barely been in any current content) pursue. Nikki as a concept COULD be the main girl, or the best wingwoman – if not both. Instead she’s the worst offender of why guys straight up in real life DO NOT engage with females anymore. She’s the prime fucking example, exactly as written. Her name might as well be Captain Mixed Messages. Or, I’m literally ONLY here to fuck you because I want all the money in your wallet. She even has a “stalker” ex, for no really good reason. What part of she admitted she was “almost” a porn star and then straight up refuses to actually commit to the person she IS somehwat routinely FUCKING by that point, sounds like it’s good writing to you? Explain it to me, if you can. Because you can argue Tsundere all you like; you can argue she wants her “best friend” back (she’s the one that initiates a sexual relationship if you make the “right” passive bitch boy choices) and I’d still say that in real life – a Tsundere is most likely to LOSE what she actually wants. Because human beings don’t play that sort of game. We’re not mind readers. And you can hem and haw all you like about the nervousness, but if she never tells MC straight up what she wants = he WILL eventually just let her go.

But sure. Let’s go with I’m a whiny child because I’d prefer that the game was tagged what it clearly wants to be, from the start. Had everything set up to become. If the dev didn’t want to be a massive cock tease building Pin Head’s Puzzle Box of how many ways player will you let me TRY to fuck you over, before you tap out. It is, for all intents, a harem. It just doesn’t want to call itself a harem. And I’ve said on other sites, pointing this out – if the MC has this many “friends” who apparently all just need his wallet; he doesn’t need enemies. Because they’re not really friends at all. My biggest problem with the game IS the fact the guy literally has “fuck you money” and could absolutely FIND the females that won’t fuck around, and would be worth the investment. Would be the harem – as the player chose. Without all the drama. If he was the regular nine to five dude and building the same friendships or had a five figure salary so he’s well enough off but couldn’t literally waste millions donating to philanthropy… then yeah. Friendzone his ass all you want and pretend that’s a “good” story. I’ll repeat this in case you didn’t get the point: I’m a whiny child. Your words pal. But you’re here, writing about good writing because the characters in a game posted on a SEX GAME site, literally friendzone, or fuck your head around as the main character in the game. Who’s rich as balls. I’d rather be the whiny child who knows what he wants, and what the game should be, than the one with half a brain cell and blue balls, deluding himself about what good writing is.

In case it hasn’t escaped your notice, my friend: I’ve written and FINISHED far better actual novels than this “story” is. With characters that are actually complex, but don’t go out of their way to fuck with the audience’s head. I am a novelist. Story, character development and plot mechanics, as well as game mechanics come down to it, ARE what I know best. They are my wheel house. So come to my territory, and insult me all you want, for saying what I think. And you can cry to everyone else when the game tanks, or the dev abandons it because everyone else eventually sees the same thing and outright agrees with me. They don’t have to think the same thing I do, and you don’t either. But if you can’t take it, learn not to dish it out. I’ve played enough of these games for years to know Devs like to mess with our heads and get their jollies from finding ways to blue ball us. While begging for the finances to finish their damned games. Have you never taken a look at just how many get abandoned? You’re not the first to call me names, and you won’t be the last. You weren’t the first here, or on one of these sites. It’s not new. It is tiresome, and honestly I’d have been inclined to agree with much of what you wrote, if you hadn’t taken the low branch to get a pointless shot in. Insulting me doesn’t make what I wrote less true. It was and stands as my opinion. The dev CAN change it, as he likes, and he can add the freaking tag in. Hell, he could go balls to the wall and actually add in all the DARK content he swore would be in the game, so you can treat Nikki like the broken bitch she should be. It’s not that likely to happen at this point. I gave up on the game the moment Gabbi decided so randomly to be done with MC. Even against the point I helped her as much as I did; and as far as I saw I never made a “wrong” choice – in trying to pursue her. I even used the walkthrough… but you go ahead and keep thinking that is “good writing.” That’s on you.
