About Fate of Horingar

The Great War
After the Great War, the Kingdom of Stonehaven took control over the region of Silos. Since then, every kingdom that has been defeated must pay crippling reparations and the only way to stop them is to compete and win the Royal Tournament, which is held every four years.

Reiner, Prince of Horingar
Reiner was born two years before the Great War, which took his mother’s life.
Ever since then, his father (The King) has given him the cold shoulder.
From a young age, Reiner has been preparing himself for the Royal Tournament, hoping to gain his father’s approval and the freedom of his people through victory.

The game is decidedly NOT finished if two seconds into the main quest on a New Game; the girl doctor you’re meant to go see replies in Dev speak (Planned Content) when it should be to proposition her.

There was also a side quest of a wife with a “missing” husband just about five seconds after that point that frankly; you should’ve gotten the WIFE as a reward… and potential pregnancy content. I chose not to do the “overpowered” playthrough = but for those that do take that option, your quest reward in that case gives something they possibly don’t need… and denies a potential H Scene that should be in the game. Not because it’s her cheating (the husband could have just died… and you get a reward for finding him/bringing him home) but because it’s more respectful to your audience’s desires and your own game’s mechanics by invitation. Also, it’s a Harem. It would allow the player the choice to put her in the harem, or keep her as a side piece, if not kindly refuse and play up the role of the True Hero.

There was also the point that you took the knight girl away too quickly (for a bit I was thinking that would potentially be an NTR case… No Bueno) the skills she has don’t really do anything to help her damage, and you started her with shit for a weapon (she’s the tank – I get it; she’s meant to take the beating, not do the beating) BUT you’re also showing the MC a scene of beaten bandits rather than allowing the Player might want to level up by grinding. Especially if they DIDN’T choose the overpowered playthrough option or decided they didn’t like it and turned it back to normal.

You also have an upgrade system that seems rather abitrary, not to mention not powerful enough; and dependant on raw luck at times. RNG is not the good part of an RPG – and you choose the player/party class for them. You know that’s like half the fun of an RPG right? You could at least let us choose where to put his points on level up… but hey, at least he heals after every combat like one of his “skills” is Regeneration lol. (I actually enjoy that point, I’m NOT knocking it; but it does rather invalidate potions if you are willing to grind fights out and can survive in combat long enough to win)

I’m sure there will be more I can point out as I play through, but my main point is if you can put in (planned content) ANYWHERE… then the game is NOT “finished.” It won’t be finished, just because you decided to do a different take on it. (Nor do I think said alternative take was actually necessary, but if you were going to do that you probably should’ve made certain that everything you were going to put in the game was just to start, in the damned game first)
