Walkthrough + Gallery Mod: FILEKNOT - ANONZIP

Walkthrough + Gallery Mod Installation:

1. The Dark Mind Patch needs to be installed (click link -> show previous versions -> download "Week 1 - Final" patch)

2. Old saves made without the mod might not work, so you might need to start a new game (saves made with the mod are compatible with Day 8+)

PC: Unzip the mod and put the folder named "game" from the mod in your "EcchiSensei-Week_1" folder.

Mac: Unzip the mod -> Right click your Ecchi Sensei app -> Click "Show Package Contents" -> Open the "Contents" then "Resources" folders -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named "game" from the mod to the "autorun" folder -> Click merge

Walkthrough + Gallery Mod Features:

The scene gallery in the game has been modified so it now contains every scene in the game! It normally only has 17 scenes, but I've added the 60 or so scenes that it was missing and changed the design so the scenes are now sorted by character. All the scenes are also already unlocked/viewable, meaning you don't have to replay the game to be able to see the scenes in the gallery.

Many improvements have been made to the game's UI to make the text more easily readable and so that parts of the screen no longer block the game images:

• Restored the font to the original one from the previous versions of Ecchi Sensei


• The warning screen will no longer be displayed when the game starts


• The phone icon in the bottom right of the screen is now hidden so it doesn't block the screen


• When starting a new game you can choose to disable the quick menu so it doesn't block the screen


• Added a black transparent textbox


• Changed the text color to white

DAY 7 MAC FIX:

The Mac app in the day 6 download wouldn't run for me. No error when I double clicked it, it just didn't launch. I went into terminal and tried to open it, and got this:
"LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Users/xxxxxxx/Desktop/torrents/es/EcchiSensei-Day_5-market/EcchiSensei.app"

I did some web searching, and found a page that said it could be because of a quarantine. Run this command to see:
xattr -l EcchiSensei.app

This is what I got:
com.apple.quarantine: 00c1;5c11edf1;Firefox.app;

To fix it, I ran this:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine EcchiSensei.app

That removed the quarantine and then the app would launch.

WEEK 1 MAC FIX:

Mac version issue, solution, and patch installation instructions:

I downloaded the lightly compressed version, and the patch. First I tried running the base game. It wouldn't run. I got an error when I double clicked the app, and an error when I ran it from a Terminal window. Digging into it, I found that the shell script the app runs initially has dos line endings instead of unix line endings. It looks like someone saved it with a dumb editor in Windows, possibly notepad.

Solution - open the file in vi and change the line endings.

1. Open Terminal


2. cd to the directory with the app


3. vi EcchiSensei.app/Contents/MacOS/EcchiSensei


4. type these commands exactly, including the leading : (but not the number at the start)

   2. :wq
   
   
   
   

After I did that I could run the game.


To install the patch, copy the following from the patch to the same place in the main game:

• archive_dm.rpa


• patch.rpy


• game/menu/options.rpy

Enable dark mind in the options menu. Turn on kinks you want to see.
