About Dark Fate Chronicles

In the year 2034 the world is in ruins, it is dominated by machines and humans serve as their slaves. A few hundred humans fight against their opressors. This group of humans is called The Resistance, led by John O’Connor. To ensure their domination a couple of robots were sent to the past with the mission to kill John. John got his hands on one such robot and with the help of The Resistance this robot was reprogrammed with the sole purpose of protecting Johns younger self. This robot was sent to the past as well.

Changelog (so far):

  • ~100 new images (most of them are now 3840×2160 downscaled to 1920×1080)
  • Completely revamped the phone menu
  • Added a XRay menu that gives you bonus images or clues on how to continue with the story (Right now only two bonus images though)
  • !!! New variables to keep track of events in the game !!!

This is important, because it means that you will have to start a NEW game. Savegames from previous version will NOT work correctly!

The game contains 755 dialogue blocks, containing 6,758 words and 34,030 characters, for an average of 9.0 words and 45 characters per block. The game contains 14 menus, 350 images, and 74 screens.
