What's New in I Need to Be in Love Version - 1.4 EA?
This update focuses on establishing the foundation of the city, its characters, and the overarching narrative,
preparing the game for a fully story-driven experience in future updates.
Story & Progression
- Added main story progression trigger at the Shop (Hana, Joshua)
- Triggers after 10–20 days in the city or 1 week of contact with Hana and/or Joshua
- Main story progress is currently ~10%, targeting 100% by Patch 2.0
Systems
- Calendar Appreturns
- Birthday gifts now grant +100 relationship points to NPCs
- Gift system adjusted (Hana, Joshua)
- Gifts can now be given once per day
- “Make Love” is no longer required to increase relationship points
- Future story events will also grant relationship points
World & Locations
- Added dynamic NPC encounter locations (time-based movement)
- New locations added:
- Police Station (Nami, Helen) – story locked
- Moonlight Bar (Revi) – view-only
- Velvet Club (Eri) – view-only
- Meadowfield Farm (Emma, Rosso) now playable
- Includes an egg-collecting minigame
- Cafe (Lilly, Paula)
- Energy recovery and NPC encounters coming next patch
